We serve as your Florida registered agent
Florida requires every LLC to have one. We accept legal papers and state notices for your company every business day and send each one to you.
What a Florida registered agent does
Every Florida company lists a registered agent on its public record. Whoever is listed there takes on these four jobs.
Our Florida street address

- Is there during set hours10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m., every weekday except holidays.
- Uses a Florida street addressIt can’t be a P.O. box or a mailbox where nobody is on hand. The address is public.
- Signs to accept the jobA filing without the agent’s signature gets rejected. We sign ours.
Can I be my own registered agent in Florida?
Yes, if you live in Florida. An owner or manager can serve; the company itself cannot.
It costs nothing. Here is what comes with it.
What happens without a registered agent
The state can close the company
A company with no agent, or one that moved without telling the state, gets a notice and 60 days to fix it. After that the state closes it. Reopening costs $100 plus any missed annual reports.
A lawsuit can go ahead without you
If nobody is there to accept the papers, they can be served through the owners, and then through the state. The case can move forward even if you never saw them.

Switch your registered agent to us
You can change agents at any point in the year. Our price is $150 a year whenever you switch.
January 1 to May 1
The change goes on the annual report we file for you. It is included in the report.
After May 1, we cover the state fee
Once your annual report is filed, changing agents takes its own state filing, which costs $25. We file it and pay that fee for you.
Our prices, with the state fee where applicable
The state fee goes to Florida, not to us. Nothing renews unless you choose it.
Common questions about registered agents in Florida
Who can be a registered agent in Florida?
A person who lives in Florida, or a company allowed to do business here. Either way, the agent’s business address must be the Florida address on file.
Does my registered agent have to be in my city?
No. Any Florida street address works, as long as someone is there during the required hours.
What if my registered agent quits?
The agent files a resignation with the state. It takes effect 31 days later, or sooner if you name a new agent, so you have a month to replace them.
