What a Florida LLC costs
Every price we charge, and the state’s fee wherever there is one. You see the whole cost before you order.
Our fees and the state’s fees
The state fee goes to Florida, not to us. You can always file directly with the state and pay only that.
What a $0 LLC costs over three years
The $0 offers cover the form. The registered agent, the EIN, the annual reports and faster filing each cost extra, and the registered agent renews every year.
Over three years, with the LLC filed in three business days or less, you pay $899 with us, $975 at ZenBusiness and $1,123 at LegalZoom. With us you see the whole number on the first day.
| Company | Year 1 | Year 2 | Year 3 | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LegalZoom | $427 | $348 | $348 | $1,123 |
| ZenBusiness | $377 | $299 | $299 | $975 |
| My U.S. Business | $299 | $300 | $300 | $899 |
What the state charges, whoever files
These fees are set by Florida law. They are the same whether you file yourself, use us, or use anyone else.
$125 to form an LLC
One fee covers the articles of organization and naming the registered agent.
$138.75 each year
Every Florida LLC pays it with the annual report, even in a year when nothing changed.
$400 after May 1
A flat late fee, the same in May or September. If nothing is filed by late September, the state closes the company.
If we file your annual report late, we pay the $400
Confirm your report and pay for the year at least three business days before May 1. If we then miss the deadline, we pay the state’s late fee.
Common questions about what a Florida LLC costs
How do I start an LLC in Florida by myself?
File the articles of organization on the state’s website and pay $125. You will also need a registered agent and, for a bank account, an EIN from the IRS, which is free. Our guide on how to start an LLC in Florida covers each step.
Do I pay the state fee to you?
Yes. We collect it with our fee and pay it to the state at cost. We never mark it up.
